A Home Inspection is a written report based on a visual inspection performed to provide a better understanding of the conditions of the property. It is an objective, third party review meant to identify major deficiencies, items would be costly to repair, and items that pose safety or fire hazard. Inspections protect both the buyer and seller against hidden costs and helps all parties avoid surprises and delays. Remember, inspectors do not profit from the sale or repair of the property.

|
We advise our clients to participate in the inspection process. When you attend, you can ask questions and voice any concerns you may have about the property. Your Realtor may want to attend, and is always welcome.
WHEN IS THE INSPECTION? We strive to inspect your property within 48 hours of your call to our office, Most inspections take 2-3 hours to complete. Return visits available. |

WHY TEST FOR RADON? The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Surgeon General's Office, American Lung Association, National Cancer Institute and the Consumer Federation of America recommend that ALL home buyers test for Radon. Radon gas cannot be seen, and is odor-less. The only way to know if Radon is present is to have a test performed by a licensed professional. Duke Inspection Services is an affiliate of Radalink. We use their tamper proof-electronic monitors to provide accurate test results. A written Radon Report is provided. Testing is fair and impartial - we do not sell radon mitigation systems. An extra fee is required for Radon testing.
